Natural Hair

After graduation I decided to give my hair a little break from protective hair styles. Though some say protective styles are ideal to helping your hair grow, it is also important to let you hair breathe for a bit. I kept my hair braided up for about a month until I took it out deep conditioned it and let it go free for a bit. The transition from a protective style to having you hair out is a bit of a challenge. This is one of the main reasons people decide to perm or straighten their hair. With a protective style it takes only a few minutes to fix it up and go about your day as oppose to having you hair out, I devote the whole morning to doing my hair and a few extra hours to make sure it’s dry. There is nothing worst then doing a bomb twist out and realizing your hair is still wet. In this section of my blog I will talk about protective styles, natural hair regimens and at home diy’s that promote healthy hair.

Until next time,
